I have known Kevin Pax both personally and professionally for over 10 years. This made hiring him to repair/revamp our deck a no brainier! To know Kevin is to know that he is meticulous in his work, innovative with his ideas, fair in his estimates, and honest through and through. My children and I moved into our home seven years ago. We removed a hot tub from our back deck and did an okay patchwork of boards to fill the hole. Many of the existing boards were rotting, and our deck became extremely unsafe over last last few years. Kevin gave an honest opinion of the upper boards and lower frame that needed replaced. He even suggested minor things to fix or replace that we would have never thought of and how we should wait a few months to let the boards weather before staining them. Finally, what most impressed me about Kevin's work was his attention to detail. I watched him shave off paper thin pieces of wood to make sure new boards fit seamlessly next to existing boards! Thanks to Kevin, our once sad little deck has new life, and we love it! It's stylish, comfortable and safe! My family will enjoy our time there for many years to come!
